love. love. love?

A child grows up with "love". At the age of 4, a parent reads to the child a story, at the end of the fairy tale, the prince and the princess fall madly in love and live happily ever after. At the age of 9, a girl listens to music on her "hand-me-down" black iPod, songs that are always about love. Love gone wrong and love gone right. At the age of 13, the young girl  has her first real crush. A small little secret that she can keep in her heart safe and sound. A little bud that she waters every evening when the sun sets. A topic of conversation when talking to her friends eating lunch at school. At the age of 16, the young lady has fallen in love. At the age of 63, the elderly woman has had a life full of smiles, sunshine and love.

As you have concluded I am the "young 13 year old girl". That is why that part is the most detailed, because I am living it now.

With love,
Zoé

  5. It's so nice to be able to search our blog and just find a nice poem or phrase or something to keep you going for the day. A word or two you can think of all day long. That your day will be based on or that you will use to encourage others.
    Lovely poem by the way.
