So, a couple of months ago, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try a different type of blogging. I got an account on tumblr.com. And by god, that was a shock. Every tumblr was the same: I'm too fat, first 40 to like, I need skinny legs, first 20 to reblog, I want to be model, oh my god your legs are perf balah, blah, balaaaah. And before I knew it, I too was counting the number of followers I had, following blogs I didn't really like at all and typing "tumblr" in google search more times than I think was sane.
I am proud of what I have made on tumblr but I know that I could never be like those girls who centre their world around their follower count and their need to look like a model.
All I can say, is that our little blogger.com does seem more home-y than tumblr.
On a side note, today is the last day of the holidays, those two weeks just flew by.

p.s do you like the new address? ♡
As a loyal follower, I just want to point out that the coffee mug symbol you use as a pointer to your site looks very faint in the Favorites Bar (where it belongs!).
ReplyDeleteI humbly request a more vivid one.
Keep blogging and I'll keep reading, especially if you stay away from body weight and true to yourself.
